Author, photographer and nature lover. I love everything about nature – the animals, the insects, the trees, the sounds, the magic!

I grew up in a rural area west of Chicago. With its open prairies and muddy marshes, the natural world awakened my spirit and piqued my curiosity. It was here I found freedom and adventure in exploring the world around me. It was here I fell in love with all things wild!

Writing came to me a bit later in life. And it all began with a Mountain Beaver! My desire to teach children about the natural world led to me becoming an author with the publishing of my children's book, Clark the Mountain Beaver and His Big Adventure! 

My passion for writing continues to lead me to inspire and uplift others to the magic and wonders of the natural world. When I am not exploring nature in my writing, it is the spiritual aspects of life that take hold of my pen.
